The people behind the Viremont Initiative
A former youth writing champion and educational advocate, Evelyn March founded the Viremont Initiative in 2023 to create opportunities for young writers across the globe. With a background in literature and nonprofit leadership, she oversees all aspects of the Initiative and continues to mentor young authors today.
A professor of comparative literature and ethics at a private university in New England, Dr. Idris brings over 20 years of experience in academic writing and literary analysis. She leads the annual panel of judges who evaluate competition entries.
A former essay competition winner in 2023, Noah now manages communications, outreach, and participant support for the Initiative. He also coordinates alumni involvement and edits the yearly digital anthology.
